AJW Sports Therapy
Amy Waghorn owns AJW Sports Therapy based in Calverton, Nottingham. I am passionate about the importance of a personable approach to assessing, treating, and managing musculoskeletal injuries, pain, and alignments that may affect your sporting performance and daily life.
I graduated with a First Class Honours degree from the University of Derby in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation BSc. I spent time with The Nottingham Panthers IHC and local clinics during my undergraduate degree to gain experience.
I am constantly developing as a professional through courses to improve my clients' services and ensure I am armed with the most up-to-date information and evidence to give the best treatments for each client.
I am now in the process of completing my master's Degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Nottingham to help improve my knowledge and understanding of the human body to a more profound level, which will allow my clients to receive a more extraordinary service when they come to AJW Sports Therapy.
My Clinical work has led me to become the Lead Sports Therapist for Mellish RFC 1st XV, NLD Senior Women’s Program and West Bridgford Ladies.
